A short tale, inspired by Button badge.

As they run to their next position by a wall in Hue a peoples Liberation fighter sees his Comrade mown down, but escapes himself to his new position.

A bunch of Marines one wounded by the VC take a breather whilst a Corpsman helps their Buddy.
The guy on the left says to the one trying to locate Sniper fire. "Give it a rest won't you !" who just laughs. Next to him the guy with the AK47 which he has taken off the dead VC girl, says to the Corpsman in a southern drawl "Hey Doc, I got me a fine piece here ". Doc just says Yeah and gets on with his work.

A mule that has brought up more Ammo takes the wounded Marine away.

The Marines their brief rest over, get back to the work in hand.

Cheers for the compliments Larry, (Cheques in the Post !) I guess there's a story in all of our dioramas we make, some don't need explaining, but to add a few words helps it along sometimes !
