Hi Guys,

Although April’s ‘DISPATCHES’ just ‘premiered’ yesterday I thought I would share a little photo we ‘shot’ today.

One of our great ‘Master Painters’ just finished this beautiful little figure of a young Vietnamese girl making her way to the local market with fresh flowers to sell.

I thought to contrast the civilians going in one direction with an Aussie infantry unit backed up by a Centurion going the other way. Simple... but very effective and... a nice splash of colour.

Yes looks great, a definate must have figure to add to mine and probably most other Vietnam War collections. Would like to see a few other Market day figures doing similar Andy and a cart with the huge wheels that seem typical of Vietnamese carts would be good too, whether used for Market / refugees/ village accessory .
This figure is a great start ! :salute::

What a wonderful way to start the morning with a new VN Civilian figure and with a backdrop of the mighty Centurion. Made my two weeks in lock down much sweeter. Great little scene.

Always good to hear from you especially after 2 x weeks in ‘lockdown’...As soon as I saw the little Vietnamese girl with her flowers I knew I wanted to contrast her with that bloody great Centurion!!!

I love the girl! Love to see in the future (but the range is growing really well) some city scene with girls in "ao dai" and some motorized rickshaw, vespa motorbikes, three wheels motorbikes, and some "white mice"
