I am not an older Britains expert nor know much at all! This appears to be an older band set, I don't know if repainted, but any id help would be awesome!

Thanks!
Tom

Hello Tom,
W. Britains Set No. 27 Band of the Line. Precisely correct composition of bandsmen, but with additional side drummer. No mismatches except drummer, and all original painting, indicating a correct original set, plus one. Produced 1946 to 1955. Personally curious as to identification of the little appendage off the base of the far left trumpeter? A very nice vintage set. Well done!

Mucho Gracias! Big thanks. I believe the piece that fell off is a like a small ceremonial dagger, it is on most of the figures -a sheath of some sort.
