Hi
I have some vintage W. Britain US Marines ( I think). I don't know their worth and was wondering if anyone had seen this set I knows a good price point. Set is from the 40s or 50s. I have pictures in my album.Marines1.JPG I do not have the original box however I have additional sets in boxes.

Thanks for your help!

Best Regards
Tom

Hi Tom,
The set of W. Britains you have pictured is Set No.2099 Venezuelan Military School Cadets. There should be fifteen figures. The set was produced from 1955-1959. While not rare the set is scarce. (J. Opie Rarity Index of 53 unboxed and 65 boxed for a 7 piece set). The condition of the figures appears to be Good to Good+. You may want to take the time to refer to my blog; http://www.arnhemjim.blogspot.com (Click top menu bar entitled, 'W. Britains Toy Soldiers'). Hope this helps.

Thank you Jim
Sorry for the late reply out of town on vacation last 10 days. I will investigate your blog.

HI Sherer

I dont have the Venezuelan soldiers in original boxes. However I have some changing of the guard type of London soldiers in a box. My Uncle treasured them and considered them valuable. I want to sell them to a collector and am not interested in profit here but I do not want to just give them away either. I will post some pictures of the calvery and soldiers and we can discuss?

Hi,
I may be interested in the boxed sets as well, of course giving preference to Sheher though.
Thanks,
Sandor
