anybody watching this?

HBO just started a new series...

Vinyl is an American period drama television series created by Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese, Rich Cohen and Terence Winter. The series stars Bobby Cannavale as Richie Finestra, a record executive in the 1970s. It premiered on HBO on February 14, 2016. On February 18, 2016, HBO renewed Vinyl for a second season.

I caught the first 2 episodes this week...it looks pretty good...tons of good music...

Terence Winter was the creator, writer, and executive producer of the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire...before creating Boardwalk Empire, Winter was a writer and executive producer for the HBO television series The Sopranos, from the show's second to sixth and final season (2000–2007)...he also wrote the screenplay to Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street...

he cast Bobby Cannavale...you might know him as the psycho...Giuseppe Colombano "Gyp" Rosetti...in Boardwalk Empire...and he is killing this new series with his excellent acting...

pretty good watch so far...music...drugs...women...murder...all revolving about the recording industry...looks like a winner as it's been picked up for a second season already...

cast also includes Ray Ramano...
