I got these Jenkins sets at the Wilmington, DE show back in April. I thought the other Jenkins collectors would like to see the diorama I did with them.

That's awesome,where did you get those trees?
Mark

Thanks guys. I got the tree bases from Ken Osen at his H&A Studios company.

And us K&C collectors that appreciate well produced figures as well! ;)

These are excellent aren't they!.......as are the trees.

Nice dio, Mark! I like the way you composed the scene.

How did you do the backdrop, are the trees 3-D or is that a photo backdrop?

Prost!

Brad,

The trees are 3-D and not from a photo background. They are tree bases I bought from H&A Studios.

Very very nice dio. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. I recognized the "trees" right away as Ken Osen's. He does fabulous work. All of his material is actual foliage that he preserves with a water/glycerin process which he explains how to do in his work shops. I would recommend attendance at these workshops for anybody if the chance ever arises. I have attended two of them and was fascinated by both - learned alot about dio making too.

VERY COOL MARK.............:cool::cool::cool:

I love the groundwork and especially the way you posed the figures with all their attention to trouble in front of them.

VERY COOL.....................:cool::cool::cool:

I don't collect JJ, but I certainly appreciate and enjoy them. And your setups are beautiful as well RWB! March On!

Mike

I wish Ken Osen would mass produce his trees.
I love um.

Mark, these photos I believe were long overdue. But good things take time ...

They are great and I see that you put the trees to very good use. They are always an eye-catcher.

Further, I am troubled by the way many faces of the JJ miniatures are sculpted and painted and hence do not collect Jenkins. But yours are the best faces I have seen at Jenkins. I also love the cart.

Very well done. Congratulations.

Just awesome! Great work. I must say your display makes mine look like crap. :(

Nice photos of the trees and the Virginia troops. I have not collected other Jenkins line except the Snowshoe line. I got three sets yesterday. John

Thank you all very much. mk26gmls: "...makes mine look like crap". LOL, you guys are too nice!

It is a joy to share my dio's and see all the wonderful scenes many of the rest of you create. That is what makes this forum so great!
