We are pleased to present our latest figure range, Vikings! The Viking Age was the period from the 790's to 1066 when Germanic Norse seafarers raided and traded along the northern coast of Europe from their Scandinavian homeland. With advanced seafaring skills characterized by the long ship, the Norsemen explored, expanded, and formed settlements across a wide area reaching as far as the north eastern coast of North America to the west and Russia to the east. First Legion will bring this period of history to life covering both the Vikings and their enemies in a way in which only we can, with the industries finest sculpting and hand painting that are the hallmarks of the First Legion brand. VIK001-005 are now in stock and VIK006-VIK010 are shipping late August.

VIK006 Viking Warrior Shieldwall with Sword $69.95
VIK007 Viking Warrior Shieldwall with Spear $69.95

Woo-hoo! More Vikings. I love these.

Just need more spearmen for the shield wall!

These will keep me happy for a while, though.

The Vike's look great! Do these figures have painted shields or are they decals like the Romans and barbarians?

On VIK001, the chieftan, the wood of his shield has actual wood grain on it, and not only the boss but the decorative shield bar across it seem like actual metal on close inspection.

VIK005 is intended to have a leather covering over his. It might be a decal, but the boss is metal, you can feel the texture of the stitching that is supposed to hold the leather on the shield and you can feel the divots in the shield.

I could not be happier. They look stunning to me.

These will go well with my diorama under construction now posted on forum. Regards Greg.
