Last month we released the US Army Variant of our M48A3 Patton tank along with a few infantry and Tank Riders of the 29th Infantry Division. As with the majority of our tanks lately, it was a near immediate sell out. So this month we are expanding the range with the first of the much requested US Marine Corps figures including a second variant of the M48A3 Patton tank. As was the case with the first variant, this is without a doubt the finest tank we’ve ever produced and those who got the first tank will readily attest to that fact. This variant is based on a photograph of the C23 Disaster tank (image shown below). To complement the tank we have the first of our USMC Infantry figures. Presented with bases as combat figures and without as tank riders, these figures mark the start of our coverage of the USMC in Vietnam and we plan to add additional combat and camp figures as the range continues to expand. As we said with the first variant of the M48A3, if you want one of these, we strongly recommend that you get your order in immediately as we don’t anticipate them lasting very long.

That's a wonderful looking tank, but seems odd to release a marine version right on the heals of the army version. I remember Figarti taking some heat for doing the same thing w/ their Sherman's back in the day. I'm sure some collectors would have liked to know about the different variants in the pipeline so they could wait for the model they want. It would be of no harm to FL because I think it's safe to say they're all going to sell out immediately anyways.
