Gentlemen and -ladies, does anyone have any experience with the products of Volk Design? I remember seeing them at the show at Valley Forge, but did not buy. I am looking for a wooden hut that I can use for dioramas as early as the 15th century for Western Europe. As obviously no original has survived the challenges of the centuries, I am not exactly sure I know what I am looking for.

Servus, Andreas!

I don't have them listed in our vendor list, but I saw them at Bill Lango's East Coast Toy Soldier show in Hackensack. I think I got a business card, and I'll look for it for you tonight when I get home.

Prost!

Brad, I can always buy them from Nicholas. I apologize if I did not make myself clear, but I am really just looking for opinions on the quality of these products and their compatibility with 1/30 toy soldiers.

I came across him at the last Annandale show. These are well done and nicely priced. They go great with my First Legion!

I bought several of the Volk pieces from Crown...Nicholas has a huge selection...they are very sturdy and well done...affordable and unique in design...I don't remember what type of wood he uses...but it takes a nice finish for a good looking product...

Ach, so, verstanden!

I was impressed with the quality of the buildings. At Hackensack, he had some Viking, medieval and Western pieces:

Prost!

Thank you all for responding. It appears there are many more choices than what Nicholas is offering on his website. Thank you, Brad, for all the photos. It seems there is definitely something in there I can use. Thank you again.
