Got this 60mm figure from my hoard. It represents a voyevoda war leader of the 17th century. The illustration is from an old Montvert publication.

Some basic underpainting. An insipid start and hopefully, it gets better. Some of my figures stay this way.:):):)

Found this figure again and realised that this is a pirated casting. Anyway, I didn't like the pose so I've decided to convert it to a mounted figure. Another way to spell this is Voivode which means military leader. Anyway, snip snip and I found a castaway horse body as well with a spare saddle.

I've added a horse head so far.

Amazing that I could relocate this thread. I typed a different spelling of the word voivode….

anyway. I made riding legs for this figure
