I recently picked up a set of the new Britain Napoleonic Soldiers and let me say I am impressed. They go great with my old North Gate troopers but they certainly are step up in sculpting and painting. Ken Olsen and company I tip my hat to you.

One problem is that I have looked at the French Sapper you can choose when you join the Britain’s Collector’s Club. He looks pretty impressive. The problem is the $45 he costs. I know you get some catalogs too by joining but frankly the soldier would be the reason I would join up.

I would like some feedback from anyone who owns the French Sapper on how good he is and do they think he is worth joining for. Also does anyone know how long he is available for since I blew my money this month on those new Britain Napoleonic Soldiers? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

O.G. O.C. here. I joined the WBritains C.C. at the start. I enjoy the Standard and the info.
As per the figure, he fits in quite well with the others and adds a bit of pizzazz! to the scene. Yes he's a bit more but the Standard and added opertunity to pick up additional special sets, make it worth it to me.
I don't know how much longer he will be offered, so don't delay your decision to long.

Last year I purchased the old North Wall which is very nice, I think I'll be buying the new one in the fall sometime.

Bill....
