Is anyone going the W. Britain and Toy Soldier Shoppe Spring Collector Event.

Richard Walker will be there and will have pre-production figures from the 2010 Catalog.

The event is this Saturday, April 17th.

I will be there with my nephew. Hope to see some fellow Forum members there.

I will bring the camera and take as many pictures as I can. Hope to other Treefroggers there too.

Enjoy yourself Brian, I'm sure you will;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

Brian, have a nice time visiting with Paul and Richard. I was hoping to attend, but have been "re-assigned" this weekend. Too much stuff going on with the kids this weekend for me to make the 10-plus hour round trip it seems. :(

For anybody fairly close to Milwaukee, this is always a nice little event.

Thank you Sir Brian and give my regards to both Richard and Paul.....The Lt.

I just returned from the Toy Soldier Shoppe. I picked up some W Britain sets and New Little Legion sets right out of the Box from Mike. I will post some pictures later. My nephew picked up some K&C Germans and a new parachute set and his father picked up some K&C Alamo sets.

I had a little talk with Richard and needless to say some great AZW sets are in the works, Royalty, The boys at the Drift getting a drink, horses and cannons and other battles will be done in the future. He did add that collectors will be given a breather and time to catch up before new sets are released. It looks like we will be buying AZW for years to come.

I also asked about the missing set number and it is a hand to hand set that Richard did not like and it is being redone.

Time to take a nap.

Here are some photos from the Open House. The first photo is the Exclusive Civil War Set available a the Toy Soldier Shoppe and two stores. The next two are the door prizes, one ACW and one AZW. Hoping to get lucky.

Sounds like we are in for some fun times with the AZW. Thanks for solving the mystery on the missing set number and for supplying us with a few photos. Hope you win the door prize :)

Thanks for the reporting on the open house, Brian, and from one of your other posts it sounds like it was a full house too. Wish I could have made the trip. Maybe I will see you there next Spring.
