Hello All,

W.Britains would like to invite toy soldier collectors, armchair historians & Civil War enthusiasts to join us at our first annual Model Figure Symposium in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this August 8-10, 2014. Please see the attached images of the Symposium flyer for details. A exclusive event figure will be available to all attendees. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

All the Best,

Kenneth Osen
W.Britain General Manager & Creative Director

This is the original sculpt of the symposium's exclusive event figure. It is Iron Brigade Sergeant Albert E. Tarbox, Company K, 6th Wisconsin. KIA July 1st, 1863. Look for additional pictures of the paintmaster in the near future.

Good morning Ken. I saw this advertisement on the WB Facebook page yesterday. I have already talked to Lynn about the possibility of attending and is in favor of it. She will want me to drop her off in the Columbus, Ohio area so she can visit with her mother and cousins while I continue on by myself to Gettysburg . . . I know you will be good company . . . . Truly looking forward to this Symposium, seeing you, Ericka, and others, and especially being at Gettysburg once again . . . .
:smile2: Mike

I would love to see folks from the forum attend...this is not restricted to W. Britain collectors club members, but open to everyone that is interested in Civil War history and miniatures. Perhaps some first timers will like what they see and consider our club.

I will be posting other pictures as I can, including some of the one-of-a-kind figures and pre-production samples that will be auctioned at the event.

Please note that this is the first time that the event figure price is not tied directly to the dinner so that collectors that cannot attend the event can still purchase the figure at a fair price.

Hope to see many of you there!
All the best,
Ken Osen

You really could not have picked a better place for this. Gettysburg is an amazing place. I plan on attending.
