Just had an email from Jennifer Hollenback (W Britain Sales & Consumer Service) sent to all members listing a number of stock items, availability and numbers left. No doubt a forum member can copy this email on to this thread, but this goes a ways, to have some regular insight with Britain's and sure to win votes with it's collectors, cheers, Robin.
 
Good Afternoon W. Britain Collector!



In 2013, W. Britain will celebrate 120 years in business. We have some special commemorative figures and events planned for the year. We’ll save those surprises for the upcoming catalog! We will be sending out the February issue of The Standard along with our 2013 Winter & Stock Collection Catalog at the end of February!!



It is also the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg this year, which means dozens of new American Civil War figures will be hitting the shelves. All three days of this decisive battle will be covered as will some key leaders from the pivotal battle of Chancellorsville.



We will be receiving some great new items to add to your collection early next week, including the R.M.S. Titanic Lifeboat No.6 Commemorative Set! I have listed all of the new items we received below. Any orders placed on these items will start shipping next week.







Finally, please be sure to make sure you have renewed your membership for 2013. The first issue of The Standard will be going out in February along with the 2013 Winter & Stock Collection catalog with some more new amazing figures sure to stun several collectors.

Hi Guys,

Having seen the WWI sets in London I will tell you they are top notch and the flame thrower team is a must have! I am sure looking forward to seeing the sets coming down the pike for the big anniversary this summer! Maybe we'll get some great new lancers or hussars! I also would love to see some more figures for the Crimean and of course the Nile, Young Winston and the 21st Lancers? Should be another great year!

Hi Guys:

You are probably starting to see a pattern here, we're running out. Two things have happened, we have been more careful with how much we buy and pleasingly many of these figures have started flying off our shelves faster than we anticipated. Please note though, if we are low or sold out that does not mean your favorite dealer/dealers are out, they more than likely have some reserve stock, so don't lose hope, call them up and get your order in.

This will be an ongoing trend, we will be releasing figures quicker (closer god willing to the published release date) and will be watching our numbers very carefully. As I have mentioned before here, makers can't afford to both develop new figures at the pace collectors desire and hold massive stocks of the same growing lines forever. Of course as collectors ourselves we realize there is a fine line between controlling inventory and frustratng you all, we will endeavor to walk the line....

I understand that the catalogs are printed and will be shipped out fairly soon. I think many of the AZW and ACW collectors will be happy and a few others surprised by other additions!
