Great action scene Greg, no doubt to be expanded when the great looking new figures are available later in the year.

Greg, I'm really in awe of your display !
I Wonder if, going by one of your figures in your display, Britian's will also do one or two Brit's being kidnapped and enslaved by Viking raider's.
It certainly makes you think about ones own ancestors and whether they but for the grace of God, may have ended up as Slaves somewhere.
From historical records, I remember, Brits might have ended up as slaves in Scandinavia or even North Africa from these raids.
The Cornish / Devon of England's coast seems to be where 15th - 17th c the Barbary coast pirates of North Africa would raid,as a Christian, pale skin bought a higher price.
I remember seeing a t.v. programme, I think with John Romer, where the Viking as traders and mercenaries were shown to have left their graffiti runes, which still exist in Hagia Sofia in Istanbul.

Interesting thoughts there Steve. I've just watched the first two episodes of The Last Kingdom and i'am really enjoying it. I like how the main character is
captured by the vikings and raised as one of their own. As a grown man, he is torn between his viking and saxon loyalties. Looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds. Thanks for the comments and i'm anxious to get more figures to complete the diorama. Regards Greg.

On you tube there is a trailer for a Russian made movie called "Vikings" coming out December 22. Looks very good.
