Looking for this pair of the Pharaoh's statues have lots to trade or if anyone knows a dealer that still has them would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

They make a nice pair of bookends for your military library!

That's unfortunately a sad reflection on human nature. It shows that pm is the best way to do things in the future.

I've seen this process used by others many times here and many times thought, Wow i'd like that, but I'd never stoop so low as to try to grab the item before the questioner could. I have a level of respect for the other members of this site and our hobby, open bidding is a little different, but even then I have come to respect the desires of other members and will generally refrain if I know another member is really wanting something.
Unfortunately it seems to be indicative of the growing cynicism at this site which I have commented on before.

I haven't even seen any secondary market of the Egyptian line.

Ray put a post out looking for the AE12 Pharaoh Statues. He asked if anyone knew any dealers that might still have some available. Several folks gave him some leads, and K & C UK even said they had some.........at that point some other folks rushed out and grabbed the sets before Ray was able to obtain one.

Very unusual, as I have seen no interest to note in retired Egyptian Series!

I hope Ray is able to locate a set. I have a set given to me by my daughter which I use as book ends, and they are quite nice.

This looked like you were not going to get anything. someone says something is available on the forum that is fairgame. I still do not have one or the temple facade. I have a chariot and Cleo.

Kings X has been out for a week. I did call them. Nice guy. But no AE 12 or 13
I am going to try a guy in Reno. If anything turns up I will let you know. I guess there are still people looking for this stuff besides yourself and me.
 
To put a close on my adventure here, Tony at K&C got me what I was looking for and did it fast! The boys across the pond are absolutely first rate. I would not hesitate to go to them for a second.
Thanks again to all on the forum for your help and suggestion and especially to Tony and the boys in the UK.
