Hi.

Which Marlborough palanquin are you looking for specifically as I believe they did 2 sets. The first was D144 Nobleman of Cambay in Palanquin. The second was D165 Nobleman from Jodhpur in his Palanquin. I managed to find D144 after many years spent looking for it and am still looking for D165.

In case you are interested, Star Soldiers (a collection I believe made my same makers as Marlborough and Nostalgia) also made a palanquin as part of their Indian Mutiny range with a British soldier being carried by Indian attendants.

I do hope you manage to find the palanquins - always such a great feeling to track down sets - I’m still about 25 sets short of completing my Marlborough Durbar collection, so if there is anyone out there who is looking to sell any sets please do get in touch!
