Michael
I copied the post below from the forum, it was posted in 2009.
Unfortunately, with great sadness the author Craig Pearse has also passed away.
If you search Pearse in the "Advanced Search" you may get a lead. I have the Furphy Water set (matt version) and two or three other sets (including a chap getting his hair cut) that I really enjoy.
Other than that ebay (normally Australia) is your best chance.
Apologies in advance if my response is totally un-helpful.
Cheers
Scott
Hi Tom,
The WWI water cart set is called a "Furphy" and they were used during Australia's campaigns in the Middle East as a mobile water supply for the troops.
The original Furphy was produced by Pearce Miniatures of Australia who are sadly no more after the tragic death of their owner and sculptor Rick Pearce who died of cancer a couple of years ago aged 44.
Rick was a champion bloke and a great friend.
We are producing the Furphy again with the permission and blessing of Ricks father Doug as a tribute to Ricks beautiful work.
Yell out if you want a catalogue mate and I'll send you one airmail express. They are fully illustrated in colour and FREE of charge inclusive of postage worldwide.
The Furphy's are available painted (MATT or GLOSS) or as unpainted kits.
Cheers,
Craig Pearse
