Thanks Duke, I've finally realized that mixing different companies can work to a degree, as in this photo..K&C, T.G and as you mentioned a old Britain set. I think as long as scale size works then I'm happy with it.

I like to do the same thing as for mixing. As long as the scales are close, it can work fine.
