Looks like it's going to be a truly Great Show this Year ! To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Texas Show and the 70th Anniversary of
the end of WWII (My own personal favorite Historical Period) I will be dressed in several period uniforms through out the week end of the show !
Let's just say the "Jack Boots" are shined up and ready ^&grin

I am looking forward to my 1st Texas show and the evening events .

Other than the Alamo, does anyone have any recommendations of sites to see. I will be there with my two nephews (13 and 10) and their father.

Hi Brian, The Brisco Museum is only a few blocks away from the Alamo and the Menger Hotel. At the Museum you can view the massive
King & Country built Alamo Diorama on display.
The "River Walk" is just across the street and would make a Great meal stop as there are a ton of good Restaurants there. In addition you
could take the gang on a river boat tour. The boat tour is around $8.00 per person. Six Flags is about a 20 minute drive from down town.

Major score Andy. You had me at "Band of Brothers," and the figure sounds amazing. And oh yeah, those Menger enchiladas... worth the $69 alone. :)

Great one-two punch. Capt. Dye with Mr. Martinez. This already was a must attend show, but somehow it just gained even more prevalence!

Dale Dye played Colonel Sink in Band of Brothers. It will be Fun to meet him at the show ! Looking forward to seeing the other forum members
here at the show again such as Jason (Panzer Ace) Mike (MikeMiller1955) Carlos (Desk11Desk12) John (Hotel3Alpha) Dietz, LTC PaulN,
Sgt. Rock and Steven from San Antonio amongst many others.
