Were these War of the Roses figures ever produced ?
Forum member Old Bill kindly posted these images taken at a London show back in 2018.

To my knowledge these figures have not been released yet.

Understand the moulds were lost between factory swaps and will not be redone due to expense, so sadly no we are not going to see them. They certainly would have been handy in any WOR scenes. Robin.

The Wars of the Roses is my all time favourite John Jenkins series. I was so excited when I saw these resin masters at the LTSS and was absolutely gutted when these casualty figures failed to reach production.

Maybe we could crowd fund John for the casualties ^&grin

Apart from the Mounted WoR casualty figure I do have one other unique WoR casualty figure that I converted some years ago -

Here he is alongside the original figure (which is on the left in the pics)

I am also disappointed that the WOR casualty figures were never produced. In addition there were some other action sculpts that never made it into production. I agree there were some factory issues and perhaps the series did not sell as well as John would have liked.
The conversion below is great and perhaps some talented collectors can offer their services in doing more conversions.
If enough collectors lobby John for more additions it may happen down the road, right now he is very busy with current and future ranges.

That's too bad. It seems like the WOR series has reached its conclusion.

I think the series sold very well up to the Welsh figure releases. They are not as colorful, and most are repaints. By the time of their release, it would the 5th time we saw many of the figures, but this time in white.

Very unfortunate, regarding cancellation of the casualty figures. They would have added an interesting element to the Wars of the Roses series.

One potential avenue is to look at the modelling world for figures.

They are frequently sold as 54mm but for instance, Chronos Miniatures (Naps) and Crecy Models (Agincourt/Knights) work well with 1/30.

The problem is in modelling 54mm varies, in the same way that 1/30 appears to vary in this hobby.

One manufacturer who does War of the Roses is V&V Miniatures - I have not purchased any, so no idea of how they work scale wise.
