Early this year I bought this set, After opening the box I was a little bit disappointed that the figures and jerry cans were all separate pieces. One Saturday afternoon, last April I decided to do something about it. In the past I have repaired broken figures with a pen vise drill and some brass wire and glue. So I decided to try this same method. I drilled holes in the tops of the plastic jerry cans and in the bottoms of the figures, and with a little bit of brass wire and super glue. I was able to come up with a solid fix and I don't have to worry about perching these lovely figures so precariously on the petrol cans, I even permanently set up the gas can card table the same way. It was a pretty slow process drilling all these holes by hand but the end result was well worth it. The only other thing I had top do was cut bigger holes in the storage box foam rubber with an Xacto knife. I sincerely hope others may find this little fix useful.
