Dear All
Welcome to our last WW1 aviation newsletter of 2016 with 3 new exciting
aircraft on offer today, as time is short here I will jump straight into the
releases without any further ado:

The Albatros B11 was designed by Ernest Heinkel and based on his 1913 design
of the Albatros B1. The B11 had a shorter wingspan than the B1 and was
powered by a variety of engines, in 1914 it set a world altitude record of
14,800 ft. The seating was somewhat unusual in that the pilot sat at the
rear with the observer at the front. When war broke out the Albatros
operated in large numbers but was withdrawn from frontline service in 1915,
as more advanced aircraft came into service. However the type still
soldiered on as a trainer until the end of the war and was operated by
several air forces after WW1. Designated as an observer aircraft the
Albatros B11 was usually unarmed but could be armed with bombs if needed. It
was in fact the first aircraft to bomb England during WW1 when it bombed
Faversham in Kent, fortunately with no reported casualties!
We have released 2 versions; WOW105 in a light blue fuselage and beige
colour wings from 1916 and WOW106 from 1915 in a natural brown wood finish
with beige wings. Both models are priced at $499/£350 plus postage and are
limited to 10 pieces of each version worldwide. For UK and EU customers
please contact me direct for a postage quote as it will vary depending on
where you live!
Each model comes with a free figure, GW069A or Club 21, please state your
preference when ordering from us. At present we only have 2 of each variant
in stock, the rest will follow later in the year so I have been informed!

The Siemens Schuckert was considered a world beating aircraft when it was
introduced in August 1918. However it was produced in too few numbers to
have any effect on the outcome of the war, 280 aircraft had been ordered but
only 123 were produced before the war ended. Described as easy to fly it
required a very short take off run and at heights over 13,100 ft was faster
and more manoeuvrable than the Fokker D. V11. It also had a phenomenal rate
of climb and could fly higher than the Fokker V11, it did however have its
faults particularly its engine which was prone to seizing up, although this
was later rectified.
We have a total of 5 Siemens in the colours of aerial ace Ernst Udet (who
also comes free with this model WOW106) in stock at present, more will
follow later with a total of 10 being available. If demand warrants it will
we will make more but there may be a delay please note.
Price for the Siemens will be $499/£350 plus $75 postage to the USA, rest of
the world please contact us for a postage quote.

All our aircraft are available with a deferred payment option, where
payments can be spread over 3 to 6 months. This option particularly useful
for us and collectors when we have to order items in, which may take 6
months to come into stock. However if you wish to pay upfront this option
also available. All our models are hand carved Mahogany with some metal or
resin parts and take 60 hours to make, hence the price and the limited
availability.

We would like to wish you all a happy Christmas
and a prosperous 2017.

Kindest Regards
The Gunn Team

A trio of real lookers. The Albatros was a real workhorse and an iconic aircraft. The SS DIV is a stunner and a great choice for an underappreciated aircraft. It came out beautifully in Udet's colors. More fine work from the TGM Aircraft Works. -- Al
