The new RAF figures got me to thinking about the Warbirds series which I've been sitting on the fence on for a while(actually way on the other side of the fence as they are quite beyond my budget). Anyway not saying I would be persuaded to part with so much cash, but possibility of an Adolf Galland ME109 and Douglas Bader Spitfire could go some way to help (esp since K&C have recently produced these two famous aces). Would also suggest some "bonus features" on the Warbirds to make them a bit more attractive pricewise 1) opening canopies like on the new RAF007 which is a great idea, 2) alternate removable pilot figure for cockpit (removable is key in case Douglas or Adolf want to stand next to their plane), 3) ability to display plane with wheels up or down. I think the current Warbirds look great wheels down, but I also remember how great my model planes used to look with wheels up as if flying.. Would be nice to be able to switch between the two (esp since a nice painted stand is provided as well).:D

I agree, and considering the display space required for these large models I would really only be interested in aircraft of the aces as I already have a cabinet full of 1/72 diecast planes.

Those would be great features and are already available on models from Corgi and Hobby Master so I would say they certainly could be done. Polystone is a different medium of course but in this size they would seem a necessary addition.;)
