Great scene Mike, like the close quarter combat and the rock formations are awesome!

Tom

The battle scene blends in with the splendid mountain background. Another of my favourite periods and the figures coming out are really superb. Well done Mike. Regards Greg.

Mike:

As usual, that is an incredible dio.

I'll see you next month at the show. I think I owe you a beer or diet coke?

Best,
Jason

A very realistic diorama. Excellent photography. The figures are great, the shields are the most accurate that I have seen in terms of size and depth of curvature. The weapons are also very well done IMO.

Once again, another great use of the mountain pass to make a super mini-scene.
Good use of the right figures for this close encounter of "terrible" kind!

Another great display. The ground work really lends itself to all periods a very shrewd buy !

Thank you for posting.

Have you read Gates of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae by Steven Pressfield?

Very good book - read it several years ago. A bit textbook-ish but still good. Caused me to have Toy Soldiers pictured in my brain as I read. Not generally something I like in my time away from work but oh well! :p
