I think Warpark need their own front page thread title, I think Figarti or Collectors Showcase could be relegated. Nice to hear about older figures, but think we need to look forward and these 'new' companies, Warpark are producing great stuff regularly, far more than others, such as Britains, that have a main page thread. I thought they deserved one more than Team Minitures, was discussing with a couple of US collectors and they thought TM made the front thread page as they are stocked by Treefrog and i cannot blame them as the forum helps push sales and that is what makes the TS world go round. They are a business and have to make sound choices on a commercial basis.

I heard it was the amount of posts/threads that determine it, which is understandable, but that for me depends on how it is calculated, is it posts and threads from the start of the forum or a set amount of time, if the first then it would be hard for a new company to break through. Plus you think it would be considered what posts they get, Britains have over 34k posts, a lot, but i think the threads/posts about that 88mm gun and when will it be released was a big percentage and those were mainly negative.

Figarti or Collectors Showcase [do they still release stuff?] - If companies have gone and they are not manufacturing/releasing items then should they not be in the retired section of the forum?

Can someone also explain to me the format for the order the front page companies format is in, tried to figure it out, it is not be amount of threads/posts or by first letter in company name?

WP should have their own thread.

As long as Julie does not have the War Par items in her offer, this will be nothing.

That's not true. If you ask her to look into it, and there seems to be enough content, that is, threads with responses, it's likely that a dedicated subforum would be added. We've asked before and had other manufacturers added.

As an aside, this thread doesn't really belong in Forum Issues. Forum Issues is for technical issues with the forum. This thread would be better under General Matte Discussion.

Prost!

This matter came up a couple of years ago and at that time Julie decided not to grant them their own page and closed the thread.

I seem to remember that thread and had one or two people, pretty much demanding a slot for them on the front page forgetting that the forum is owned and generously run by Treefrog Treasures and are not to be bullied into something by one or two arrogant people.

Also I'd guess another one of the reasons is that Warpark seem to concentrate on one theme, WW2 Russian Front. Which though may be quite popular I'd thought, presumably not enough. Who knows, perhaps if and when they expand their ranges they will become popular enough to warrant their own thread.

I thought Julie and TF had some minimum requirements such as number of threads and posts?

I think we all agree but

From what I understand, and could be massively wrong, but the issue isnt War Park per se but TF's relationship with another manufacturer.

Again, could be wrong on this but...
