This is a watchable 2014 movie. Maybe too many teenage hormones. Well acted and filmed.

For those that like a bit more realism try Warsaw Uprising.

"This film was culled from six hours of original silent newsreel footage shot by teams from the Home Army's Bureau of Information and Propaganda. Edited down the footage to 87 minutes, all restored, colorized and augmented with new sound effects and dialogue.
The process was laborious. Military, clothing and architecture consultants, Warsaw experts and historians were consulted to make the colorization authentic. Because so much of the silent footage features people talking, the filmmakers hired a deaf lip-reader to translate what the people on screen were saying, as well as voice actors to dub in dialogue.

So its a Polish movie with Dutch subtitles then?

Too bad.....................

It has a selection of subtitles. English among them. If you are that interested
use Google to find a trailer with English

If I'm not mistaken, I thought I saw a Panther in the trailer.

I could be wrong; granted, I was wrong when I thought there weren't Tiger I's at Arnhem as it's been proven that there were a grand total of two of them there.

I can't find the actual movie anywhere; it came out in 2014, correct?

Correct mate

Can't help you in your search try EBay i found it at JB HiFi here.

I just saw this on Amazon Prime.

Yeah, I had to deal with reading English subtitles, but...It was well worth viewing it.

The movie filming techniques were equal to any Hollywood WWII production.

The story is timeless in what was a futile uprising in Warsaw in 1944.

IMO, it is at least as great as the "Piano Player" movie.

Thanks for the reminder. I added it to my Watchlist. I actually enjoy subtitled more than English ones.

I watched it tonight. It was average at best. It’s melodramatic and basically a love story that uses the Warsaw Uprising as its backdrop. You never get a full sense or feel what the residents of Warsaw suffered during the Nazi occupation. In comparison you see and feel all those things with the Pianist, which is a far better movie, which explains why it won the awards it did. I’ve seen the Pianist a few times and I can’t imagine watching this movie again.
