Really nice photo of your unusual scene.

Though I think the Sergeant is just putting the slovenly soldier on report for his poor turn out and the feeble excuse of being on the front line {sm4}

Nice set up. I think the sculptures have a lot of character.

I wish there were more figures with the 45th Infantry Division patch. :)

That's cartoonist Bill Mauldin. The dogfaces he's with are models for his Wille & Joe characters.

Mauldin strove to depict GI as realistically as possible, especially if it gave the brass some discomfort. He was drawing for his fellow dogfaces.
