Continuing with the Waterloo 1815 Commission Set.....

After agreeing to payment terms with Igor/Irina at Niena, I opted to go with the Top Quality finish. I had a choice between Premium and Top Quality but I wanted to be sure that this diorama set quality be at its very best! I'm crossing my fingers here! So the project kicked off with Niena and Irina provided some pics for the project progress. Attached are pictures just showing some completed unpainted castings along with some pics of individual figures that have been painted. At the time, Niena noted that work was still to be done on the diorama base and figures. The set will be most likely be competed soon and shipped out to the US. Once I get the completed set, I will take many pictures and post as a Part III for all. Thanks!

I'm excited to see how the final project turns out. Thank you for sharing the pics of the commission piece as it progresses. I'm considering asking Niena to do a commission piece for me as well (Andrea's "The Barbarians are Coming"). It all depends on how your Waterloo set turns out. I know your eye and taste in Russian miniatures, so I'm certain you're paying for this piece to be painted to the highest level Niena offers. It will be fun great watching the project unfold.
