WUNDERBAR !!!! What a great collection.

Can I ask about the yellow coach with the horses in one of the earlier pictures, where did you get it from?

Hi,

many thanks for your comment!

The yellow coach is from Distler/Schuco, but I think it's sold out. Maybe on ebay.

Best regards

Timo

WOW! Timo,
I've been looking at your work for over 30 minutes. The time and treasure put into this is startling. Simply magnificent
Looking forward to more.
Regards,
Johnboy.

A sea of colour. There are many thousands tied up in just the horses alone, can only imagine what this collection is worth. Your passion for this era knows no bounds, it's a credit to you. Once everything is up, I will allocate some time to study the thread again in more detail. Very very cool. Robin.

There is nothing like a massed Napoleonic battle diorama! The colors, action poses of advancing troops and charging cavalry and assorted artillery crews bring history to life.

This is an amazing collection, well staged and loaded with action.

One day I will try to set up and photograph my 2000 plus glossy Napoleonic figures but my scenics will not compare.

Hi Guys,

many thanks for all your comments and likes over the last days!

We see you tomorrow.

All the best

Timo

Couldn't agree more, a massed Napoleonic battle diorama is second to none for color and scope.

This is a spectacular collection, even more impressive in that it's a permanent display, an investment in large amounts of time and funds, but the end result is so very satisfying.

I really appreciate the attention to detail, the formations, the groundwork, the trees and all the small little extras like the piles of wood, the haystacks, the small outbuildings, the various carts and wagons and the creative use of certain figures. I appreciate how much fun you had hunting down bits and bobs to use in your display, it's a true labor of love.

I also enjoy identifying all the different manufacturers figures in the displays.

As iconic as Waterloo is, would love to see you turn your attention east someday and do Borodino, perhaps replicate the famous Borodino panorama or recreate the French assault on the great redoubt, or Murat and the Wurttembergers and Poles as they assaulted the fletches to the south of the great redoubt.

Of course, it would either require you to take down this spectacular spectacle, or else add an addition onto your basement..............:wink2:

Bravo, just an incredible effort here, perhaps the finest diorama ever seen on this forum, surely the finest Napoleonic diorama hands down............
