Waterloo cavalry charge!!!! (1 Viewer)

Its great to see so many figures together like that, it is a really cool set up and one of the best Napoleonic dioramas I have seen on the forum.

ps - I fear those poor scots are not going to hold out for very long against the overwhelming odds...;)

Yes my british cavalry could use some beefing up but these things are not cheap and it,s not in the war budget right now so the brits are going to have to try and hold till the last man.
These new higher prices for mounted figures are killing me!

Thanks for sharing the massive display with us Tim. Most inspiring. I hope someday to have even half this amount of Napoleonic cavalry in action. I may have missed it elsewhere, but wondering if any of these pictured were new addtions from the show last weekend? Thanks again.

I did pick up some these figures at the show, I found 5 mounted frontline figures at $30 each, 4 lanciers and one scotts grey.
$30 bucks for a mt. figure!
I found a few other goods deals also!
I picked up a retired britians british artillary set for $85
Two Tinbay 42nd highlanders $40
A couple of Del Prado figures some cannons and 3 of Fubars painted french grenadier figures. Boot51(Fred) and his wife Debbie were also at the show and they gave me a box full of some scenic pieces(Trees, fences ect...) for my daughter to play with her horses:cool: That was real nice of them, she really enjoyed setting them up and playing with them.
Spent the day with them and Joe(Lt). Mike (Moddwalls) was also there with us and he showed me some of the new brick pattern he has been carving into pink foam and its incredible, he,s gotten his brick size even smaller and its so uniform it looks like a machine made them!:cool:
We had a great time.

Nice haul for certain, and the fun is evident in photos of the show you've posted elsewhere. Hope to see more of your new pick ups in action soon. :)

It,s coming Alex,I just need a bit more space and a good weekend with the wife and kids away so I can be undisturbed to let all hell break loose!;)
I have the space I need but can,t seem to find the time.:( I think I might have to kill a couple of cats first also to reduce the casualties!:D
