Had an idea about my Waterloo diorama that I'd like to share so that some of you can give me your own opinions on the matter.

Okay so I have La Haye Sainte and Hougomount in the dio, with La Haye Sainte on the far right and Hougomount in the middle at the back. Now most Waterloo fans will have knowledge of the fact that most pictures/paintings with something to do with Hougomount during the battle are set to be a view from the inside when the french have pushed the gates open and the british are trying to push it back shut again. With this in mind I had the idea of changing the position of the Hougomount in my dio over to the front side of the dio so that the view from the side where people can stand is that of the famous picture as mentioned before. Would also give an opportunity to set up some sort of platform on the inner side so that British infantry can fire over the wall at the oncoming french. The down side of this would be that the french attacking could not be seen as well as they are now. Another downside would be that the side of hougomount with the firing platform would be toward the british side and therefore harder to give the impression of them firing at the french, plus the ladders would have to be aimed more at the other side, and the trophy miniatures guards would have to be repositioned as well as the 4th King's Own battalions.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to create an iconic well known scene or is the fact I have it in a backward view good enough? Might also release an opportunity to create a scene of the greys charging, however would mean the movement of a lot of rubble, figures and foliage which seems a bit too much?

Hougomount would be repositoned to where the trophy highland square is!

Ideas?
