This figure appeared on my doorstep this afternoon, WB ACW #31057 Dismounted Union Cavalry Corporal Firing Pistol along with two sets of WB #17614 18th-20th Century Corn Rows. Another excellent ACW offering from WB.

More nice pieces to add to your collection Mike. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Are you using the bases for the cornstalks or are you able to plug them into your dio base directly.

Thanks/You're welcome Scott - I used the bases for the cornstalks in these photos - they blend in nicely with the grassy dio base.

I see your Yankee Forces growing two fold USREB;);) Ya'll better start adding more Rebs to support those you have. Thanks for sharing your new Yankee with us Mike............The Lt.

Thanks Joe - I like your use of USREB :) - Not too many Rebs being offered so far this year with WB - it is certainly the year of the Yankee for them.

Great looking figure isn't it Titus. Wow  that's quite the corn field you could make - you could do the Iron Brigade going through the Cornfield at Antietam with that many corn sets - cool

I would set up the cornfields and take a photo and then place that photo behind the actual cornfield and then take a photo :) (now THAT would be a cornfield :D :D :D)

I am glad you like the new offerings Mike. Great set ups as usual.

I am caught back up with all of the sculpting for special events, club figures and exclusives at the moment. So now I am on new AZW and ACW sets for upcoming catalogs.

I can promise you that I am working on several new figures for you armies to fill in gaps. Some of the old standbys will probably be retired at the end of the year so we are creating some replacements along with brand new poses to fill in gaps. We are also going to add a few new twists this coming year... we will keep you posted!

All the Best!
Ken

I saw several of the new ACW releases this past weekend and have to say that Ken's sculpts never disappoint...just beautiful stuff...and Mike, you have done a lovely job presenting them, as usual.

Mike...love your new pieces...especially the cavalry figure...he's got a little John Wayne in him to me...hehehe...maybe it's just the pose....

I think you will get a lot of play from the corn stalks...they are nicely done and make a good backrop...beautiful stuff...

the time is getting close to your company arriving and the "fine tweaking" you've been anticipating...

enjoyed the shots you gave us...
