Yesterday afternoon I received WB ACW #31225 "Home Run", the first set in the Death of Cushing series. I must say that I am more than impressed with this set. Great sculpting and a very nice paint finish. W. Britain figure sets are just getting better and better with a more than reasonable price point. I would say that this set is a "Home Run" in more than just its title . . . . . Ken Osen and the WB Crew did a great job on this one. The 3-inch Ordnance Gun in these photos is from WB ACW #31148 "Running Up The Gun" . . . . . I am anxiously awaiting the disabled 3-inch gun that goes with this series.

"Home Run" is the actual title that WB & Ken gave to this set. It will go very well with WB #31196 & 31197 which portray Cushing's Battery being over run by Confederates on July 3, 1863 during Picket's Charge. I suppose you can say that the UNion artilleryman is popular with the ladies . . . . he's a real swinger . . . :wink2:
