First time I have posted up here!! Early hours of december 16 1944 some soldiers relaxing and about to have a meal in a ramshackle building. getting ready for a cold, but quiet christmas. Even were able to decorate a pine tree!! That sounds like armour, the ghost front should have no armour and, they sure as hell don't sound like shermans!!!

as always rubbish photo's but, you get the picture. everything scratch built apart from two JG trees and two bits of JG winter grass I had lying around

Have to agree with Rob love the detail mate {bravo}}

Great scene Mitch. Bulge dios are some of my favorites. I agree with Guy on "small is beautiful". You can have a small setting and still portray much drama. Nice job.

I think you have captured the mood very well. Good day that 16th Dec, happens to be my birthday. Suggest they keep that tree low profile with those red cones would make a great target for a gunner. Well done Mitch, cheers, Robin.

Mitch I really like this diorama. It brings my Xmas 008-01 set to mind a little bit too. One of the figures and particularly the little dog from that set would be cool in your diorama.

Nice job!!

Good work on the terrain base and brick ruins !!! Small dio but not Too small. Looks good

Thanks for the comments very kind. been a while since I posted some dio's. Arnhem next. This 12x12 and was done to accomodate some of the smaller AFV's without being to space taking. This format is the same size I now use in the spare room as I have just recently shelved it out and thats the size of the shelving.

I also do dio's that can be used many different times. some pics with different things I had at hand. Including the dog which,was not in the meal the GI was eating!!!! and, survived the war after watching the spies get shot and raised some nice puppies. I do really like the look on the dogs face! really superior and smug.

Bayern... I also liked the christmas set and bought one from e-bay which had a broken tree so, rather than glue it on the chimney stack I placed it into a pot and, can use it on other dio's
