Again trouble with coming late into Toy Soldier collecting a lot of great series are either retired or impossible to get figures.

Discovered another of Andy's old series Napoleon In Egypt and again my search for some of the interesting figures from the series begins

Always enjoyed this series. Remember at the time I had to come up to speed on this part of history and thanks to Andy I discovered Napoleon went to Egypt and it took this series to make me aware of that. The mummy and Napoleon on the camel are the two outstanding pieces for me. Nice to see them so well highlighted. Robin.

Great collection and scenes Mark. I too have come late in collecting a number of toy soldier interests that pique my interest, however, I also enjoy hunting down figures for the collection.

Coincidentally CNN today have an interesting article on the use of the word 'mummy' and how museums, including the British Museum, now prefer the terms 'mummified person' or 'mummified remains'. Apparently the word 'mummy' is dehumanising and offensive to 3000 year old ancient Egyptians.
