We are interested in continuing our WWII brand, specifically figures sets, that are totally unique and fill the demand for un-explored poses and set composition.

Forum members are invited to post their figure set ideas, as well as armor ideas, that address all of the unique possiblities and creative thoughts a collector can muster.

Ideas that we're specifically looking for have to do with Normandy, Afrika Korp and the Eastern front. Those that have their ideas made into sets will recieve free gifts from TCS in the form of gift certificates to use as you wish.

We'd like to hear from you so please lets put our heads togethor and come up with dreams we can make into reality! We're at your service!:)

Best Regards,

Brian

For Normandy I'd love to see some US Inf with Bangalore torpedoes, flame throwers or Bazooka's for dealing with Bunker doors. Also wounded and dead sets would be welcome.

British Commandos in their own range would be superb.

British Paras attacking Merville Battery would also be great, armed w/mine sweepers, bazooka's,Sten guns etc.Real action poses as the Paras charge across the battery firing from the hip, throwing grenades etc.Hand to hand sets of Paras and German defenders would also go well with these.

We're looking for preferences more in the area of nuances, subtle as they may seem. For instance: re-loaders, drinking wine with a comrade, placing a mine-we're in the middle of doing action sets and we need your input in that regard.

Let us know what preferences you all may have.

How about an Allied field kitchen for BoB. Sunday Services? Guys eating K-rations or trying to make coffee in the field? How about manning a foxhole with one guy trying to sleep?

Cleaning weapons, sharing out rations, digging latrines, answering the call of nature, taking cover from bombardment.Sniper hunting in Stalingrad, bandaging comrades, burying comrades, gathered round the last of the firewood in Stalingrad.

How about German tank crew fuelling up there tank , British paratroopers collecting in there parachutes & canisters & US Rangers climbing ladders

How about an alternative crew for your Desert 88,in Long overcoats playing cards around a table made of ammo crates.

I always thought the old Marx WWII set with the G.I. carrying his buddy over his shoulder was a nice set...Sammy

For all theaters, how about soldiers inspecting a knocked out vehicle. Re-supply of ammo and fuel for armor. Mechanics fixing the destroyed tracks on your AFV's. Cleaning weapons is a great idea, more reloading figures would be nice.

I suggested this on the KC thread awhile back, but was told it would be too expensive (not by Andy). Anyway, a series of sets that would depict a small battle. For example, an MG42 gun team behind a sandbag emplacement or earth mound with supporting soldiers, kneeling, prone, wounded, dead. These soldiers could have their own defence works. GIs attacking, running, prone, lobbing grenade, supporting fire, wounded, dead, etc. Also behind their own scenics. Defence works could be interconnecting, but sold separately. I think, importantly, some of these soldiers should be form fitting to their scenics for realism, similar to HB foxholes, but in a larger, connecting scale. FL did something similar with their Stug riders, which could also be used on the ground. You could do 2 or 3 man sets with scenics for like $130, which would be in line with competitive pricing. Another example, a tank attacking with the commander using his mg, the opposition readying with a bazooka or panzerfaust, soldiers hunkered down. Another ie, sniper pinning soldiers down, soldier trying to locate the sniper, soldier shot. Anyway you get the idea.
