Well for One I would have to say a big no. I thought the releases this year were some of the best stuff K&C has brought out. With great new ideas and alot of thought went into what they made especially the new buildings. Who was happy or disappointed and why. Simmo.

Not one bit of it Simmo. Spitfires,Tilly's,RAF figures, Tigers, Fireflies, D Day landing craft....so many superb releases in one year its really a great time to be collecting K&C. And from talking to Andy and seeing the pics of one of the first new releases of 2011, the Grant Tank, it looks like next year will be even better:cool:.

Yes.... not dissapointed with the quality.. only the quantity :)

Still, I'm in catch up mode, so the less is better for me, until I've got all my back numbers.

Andy has dropped some hints, so I'm sure we will not be dissapointed with 2011.

Without hesitation- Yes. I really felt it was an average year across the board for all manufacturers though, when compared to what has occurred over the years. Creatively, KC is still at the top of their game, just really turned off with some of their policy decisions towards the close of the year.

No way was I disappointed by KC, or anyone else, for that matter. I really enjoy the wonderful offerings by KC, even if I can't buy everything I like. Just a great hobby and I don't anticipate ever being disappointed. -- Al

Would have to agree with you there. Was quite happy with the North Africa Campaign output, especially on the AK side (Kubelwagon, Luftwaffe items), however just started collecting NAPs. Didn't see much. Fortunately, spent all my time (and money:rolleyes:) playing catch-up on older great releases.

All in all, a very good year.

Now let's see some new Naps!

Excellent post Al, I agree, each year K&C up their game and I've not been disappointed yet, heres another reason why 2010 for me as a WW2 Collector was so good;

Just spoke to someone who said something quite true. His only dissapointment was not having the finance to buy everything he wanted.

I think when comparing apples to apples, KC had an average year, not great, not poor. I think Collectors Showcase is straightening up some quirks and are on the rise, Figarti has put together some amazing releases though are a bit pricey. The red-headed stepchild this year to me was JJD- John really really opened things up and put out some amazing quality.

The planes, landing craft, and Winter Tiger alone were enough to make me happy with KandC. Greatly rising prices was my only real disappointment.

I thought 2010 was a spectacular year for me as a K&C collector! The highlight of the year was the Battle of Britain Spitfire release, I finally have one in my collection! :D There were so many wonderful releases ( especially WWII )many of which you guys have already mentioned and now I am in serious catch up mode! :eek: Suffice to say I'm always impressed with the balance between mainstream/popular releases and the release of not so popular/specialized pieces K&C takes risks on. The Tilley comes to mind here.
A minor disappointment this year for me is the lack of leaflets. I'm used to many being released throughout the year. I thought only having basically 210 & 155 was a little lean. My major disappointment has to be ( and I hate to say it ) but the huge price increases lately are making purchasing vehicles/planes/AFV's very difficult although I suppose they are in line with the industry.
I'm confidant 2011 will be better than ever and I'm looking forward to K&C dabbling into the dogfights of WWI!

Could not agree more with you, Chris. Especially the last sentence!;)
I could also do with a little less attitude...:(

The FW190, LCVP and announcement of the European Village made this a great year for me.
