Just bought this very recently. This was one of the releases I passed on due to the scale discussions with CS sets. The intention was always to repaint it grey and add green or brown camo.

I was surprised when I got it and opened the box that the gun and the side armour were separate pieces. I like this approach and, as I was repainting it this allows the job to be easier as it takes a lot to repaint fully an enclosed cabin. I was also surprised to see it was a better scale than I had expected

I was impressed with the detail also and the overall AFV. The two crew were also well done and, have great animation and are decently painted. Although not a new set to the hobby or many it is new to me and a great artillery piece that I did not have.

Another new addition to my wee collection that has impressed me. Now, I just have to find time to repaint it along with a host of other items for myself!

Thanks for the pictures and description. I've seen this piece around and been intrigued by it, but have passed. Might give it a second look now if I see it at the right price.

Thanks for posting Mitch. I've always been intrigued by the Wespe & Hummel. It was interesting to see that picture with the gun seperate. All painted up like it is, it looks great.
