Nicely. I'll be getting some of those. I like the old Airfix Indians and these Plains Indians look like they'll fit right in alongside them. Thanks for the photos Carlos.

These are great sculps, I look at these and wonder why companies like Figarti struggle so with there figures? Couldn't they just sub out the sculps to some fine artists as these?

Figarti is getting there ... take a look at their "Lost in the Desert" figures.

Must say, very nice sculps, still not sure about the use of the black in the shading process of the skin tones.

There are surveys out there of guns used at the the Little Big Horn and you are are correct. If you are doing a pre-1870 battle, an Indian might have a Spencer, Sharps, or even a Henry carbine. The percusion cap weapons would be more common pre 1876. The weapon could double as the "Trapdoor" 45-70 as the side hammer was still used. Custer's men had the carbine version as you know. Better to have a pre-existing weapon shown on your figures. It's refreshing that TSSD equiptd their Indians with these weapons rather than the usual Winchester.

I think the Winchesters will make their appearance in the second set.

There was an 1866 and 1873 model so it's good for the Little Big Horn.
