West Coaster Show - Britains (1 Viewer)

I agree that Britains offers good value and I have a number of them for that reason but I am a bit puzzled by your observation that you could not afford FL? At their respective price levels two Britains figures are equal to 1.2 FL figures or if you buy 5 Britains figures you could afford to buy 3 FL ones. It would seem to be more of a quantity issue which I understand all too well since I cannot afford to buy all I would like.;)
Hi Bill. Not so much a quantity issue as a price issue of a line I will not cross. Also, to my great good luck, I do not collect Napoleonics (thank goodness for the FL are gorgeous). I will not pay $300 for a vehicle, no matter it's quality, therefore no reason to go with the figures, which I can't mix with other manufacturers anyway. They are great figures and vehicles, but I'm committed to 1/30 from KC and CS. FL is great stuff, just not within my means at present. Now, if they were to do NWF or WW1... --Al

It's hard to resist figures from most of the manufacturers out there. I have samples from all the big players and some smaller ones... Good thing I don't collect post-1900 periods, that is where I draw my line...

Love seeing more Britain's American Civil war. The new releases look excellent. As far as collecting Matte finish 1/32, Britain's form the backbone of several of my horse and musket collections.Always excellent figures and value.Really like the farmhouse and upcoming barn too. Thanks for the pix.
