Yeah that boat is awesome. I assure you that the pictures dont do it justice. Chris' craftmanship is really top notch. Interesting to note that the hull is constructed using one pice of wood. When Chris told me he use to be/is a finish carpenter for a living to be honest I wasnt really shocked.

Keep it silly

The boat is amazing. The only reason I didn't put an order for one is that I didn't want to venture into another range. I was pushing for a PT Boat, but it looks like he is going to be busy for a while.

Sell a few wooden K&C Warbirds and you would be there in no time ! ;)

Which ones are you interested in? I have almost 80, and could be convinced to part with 2 or 3 in return for that magnificent boat, even if it would get me started collecting another K&C line . . . ;)

Hi Guys,

I'm just getting settled after my trip to the Westcoaster.
Can't thank all of you enough for your kind words regarding my work.
I am so pleased that Andy, Helen and myself have come to an agreement that makes this a project officially endorsed by King and Country.
Each boat will come complete with a certificate signed by Andy and myself.
This is a great honor to me that they feel that my work is of a high enough standard that they are willing to add the King and Country name to my project.
The boat shown at the Westcoaster was the prototype and has found a new home down under. It came home with me to have some further details added, all of which will be included on the production models.
The production run will not exceed fifty boats and each model will come with a wood storage box complete with a carrying handle.
I took orders at the show and will contact all of you who inquired earlier soon.
It looks like the first boats will be ready to be delivered around June.

Best Regards,
Chris

P.S. Look for other super secrete joint ventures in the future

That's great news Chris. Once again the collector wins due to competition and the innovation and creativity it generates. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of future collaboration.

BTW Chris, it was great to meet you at the show for the first time and hopefully I'll see you again in Chicago??? or maybe at the West Coaster 2011.
