Hey guys,

The room trading is just starting but two things are clear so far. They are the Figarti British tankers paint job is the best I've seen in true 1/32. Rick showed me a painted tank commander that goes with the Honey. Sorry no pictures yet, it was late and Rick was still sitting up.

Second, KC is readily available with a number of dealers at the show. The Rommel Car wasn't except a show dealer named "The Brunton's", call Bill or Pam on 928 717 1698, BruntonsBrcks@cableone.net

The 10.5c German gun is sweet and the Desert transport can tow this artillery piece.

Sorry for the quality of the picture but the light was bad and I was too tired to care much about it.

Great pictures, Carlos, thank you for filling us "east coasters" in on what's happening out there. The AK pieces look awesome, can't wait to get my order. Please keep us posted on those Figarti Stewarts.

Thanks, Fred

VERY nice! Now I know what to do with my money :p ...

Thank you Carlos for posting these pictures. Don't worry about the quality, it's quite allright :D .

Thanks for the pictures Carlos. Your choice of products to shoot is helping me to confirm my selection of which series to collect in the WWII era. The desert stuff is really cool and I can not wait to get them.

Your pictures and all of the discussions about the various shows, (West Coaster, London, etc.) also adds to my anticipation for the "Chicago" show in September. I have never been to a toy soldier show and I am starting to save my money now. I am like that TV commercial where the little kid says, as they try to go to sleep just before going to Disney World, "I'm too excited to sleep!!!" And, the parents are too. :D Michael

Those EA pictures are awesome baby! That's what I've been saving my money for. No ambulance (John was correct) but the Dingo Scout Car looks tremendous. I'll see them in person next week at the Symposium.

Michael,

I went last year, my first time and it was fantastic. I arrived on a Friday and that was way too late for the retired K & C I was looking for. This time I'll be arriving on Thursday. The room trading is neat and as many will tell you, you can get lost in the maze of rooms.

One question. Are those two officers personality figures? Maybe O'Connor?

I don't know, one of the guys is a MP. I'll have to ask about the other guy.

BUILA-A-RAMA, PArt II

Notice the piping and the electical conduits along the sides of these buildings.

The side walks and street sections will be included with each building set. Please notice 1/30 nature of this scale which is perfectly compatible with KC and other smaller scales like 1/32. Andy thinks they're terriffic.

New Britains coming up in Summer 2006. Richard Walker seems to be doing well. Here are G.I.'s, SS and German Paratroopers, Ken Osen sculpts....

Stevevn and Carlos, thanks for the pictures and info from the West Coaster, the EA stuff looks great.

Yes, thanks again. I love the sappers set, presumably defusing the Devils Garden in October 1942. Absolutely fantastic.

The Indian Vickers crew is something that has been sorely lacking. The international nature of the 8th Army is something that gets overlooked too often.

Wow, wow and double WOW .... The new Build-a-Rama and the new release figures are great. Well, it had to happen, as Randy Quade said when riding his jet fighter into the alien ship in the movie Independance Day, "I'M BACK." WWII has resurged into my blood again thanks to all the new releases that are really stepping up the quality of this hobby a couple of knotches. Thank you for the pictures guys.

Shannon and Pete, what a great idea this forum was. Thank you for putting it together. I believe more and more in the value of this forum. Manufacturers are listening to us buyers and we are understanding more about the process they go through to make our stuff and making our demands more reasonable.

But my major question is now - how in the heck am I supposed to save money for the Chicago show with this new stuff available or soon to be available? Oh well, I can always eat later in life and really who needs all the other things in life when you have toy soldiers.:p Michael
