I just placed an order for the new 1/2 armoured ambulance when I noticed the model carried the catalogue reference WH 05 rather than a WSS number.

I presume WH stands for "Wehrmacht". The latest "grey" Germans carry the WSS code so I am intrigued wonder what the subtle differentiation is. Also I wonder what WH 01-04 are?

WH is all good news the Grey Germans are so popular there getting there own line/category WH1-4 hopefully a 88 prime-mover and passengers..............^&grin

WH is indeed Wehrmacht. The first issued one (the one you have) is WH-05. I presume WH 01-04 have been made but not yet issued.

Perhaps the Chicago show may provide answers.

Most of the WWII Germans are listed under the Waffen SS or WS item product code. WS Grey Germans are listed by K&C under the "Classic Germans" listing with others
listed under the Waffen SS heading. The WH designation used for the new German armored ambulance would indicate a new product code listing, hopefully for many more exciting
releases yet to come !

I am sure someone will ask about it at the K&C Sierra Toy Solider Event which takes place one week before Chicago. If I get any info I will pass it along.

Very many thanks - I'm sure there is a perfectly logical explanation - it would be just nice to know what it is!
