Just wondering what happened to all the whaleboats folks ordered.

1. What do you think of it?

2. How have you (or plan to) display(ed) it? Photos please!!

3. What would you like to see made to go along with it?

There was so much excitement about this set that I am surprised there has been so little comment since its release.

Hi
I got mine in the mail yesterday.I`ll post a picture ASAP.I do like it very much.I guess it`s my Xmas present to myself.
Cheers
Dave

Seen it at the HB in person, it's a REAL piece of art and will be purchasing one soon :)

Most excellent piece, shame it had to be released after the pound took a nose dive. Hope John brings out a stand alone boat plus boats with mixed crews such as native guides etc.

Hope that there maybe some Rangers on skates for Snow Shoes as I believe Rodgers used them as scouts whilst on the Lake.

For the Jacobite range a croft would be good, maybe a ruin for the aftermath.
Some highland cattle being driven of by Campbells men would paint a picture.

Hi
Here it is.A great piece. Not sure where it`s going to go as I don`t have any water yet.

Great piece Dave, a tip from The LT.....just lay a piece of clear plastic over that mossy base and it looks a treat.

Congrats on the whaleboat Dave. It's going to be a while before my wallet can stand that.

That cost me 7 extra duty watchs on the boat.So that was 7 extra night sleeping on the boat not at home. The things you do for your hobby.
Cheers

Dave

Here's the old sheet plastic trick. Place it over black or dark blue felt.

Thank you for all these wonderful suggestions. I was worried about how to show water in my displays.

Thanks for everyones' tips:)

I got one over Christmas. The best release of 2008 in my opinion. The Braddock set is another that has been overlooked. A close second.
