I love TG's stuff.........As I observe everyone's wish list, both on this and other Manufacturers threads......A thought comes to me......What about Americans !

As we continue to create The Great Crusade, we find we are having trouble finding enough Americans to do battle with the German forces we have available.

We need American reinforcements now...Especially Airborne.

Come on Now don't you think the American Airborne uniforms are cool as can be. And how about a Waco Glider, Pathfinders and Equiptment etc. Alex

Here Here!! I agree, I am sure TGM will put some Americans out there for us.

I am pretty sure that some American paras will come our way this year.We need some opposition to fight the German Fallschirmjäger.

BSP has formed a working relationship with TGM, so those of you who would like to have some Americans to combat your Germans please chime in. If we get a good response, we can show this to Tom......Who better than TGM to do some cool American Paras for us........... Even suggest some poses......We want this bad ...please help if you agree {sm4}

Just think...... for you K&C fans they will fit well........For Figarti AFV fans they will fit well......and they should work well with TCS Armor amd some figures also..... Thanks Alex

Count me in. Looking for more American soft-skins such as Ward Le France or Diamond T Wrecker, WC 56/57/58 Command or Radio Car, a simple Jeep with Trailer (removable driver), L4 Grasshoppeer Spotter Plane, CCKW 354 6X6 2 1/2 Ton Truck (short wheel base. Figarti and KC are of the CCKW 353 versions), Weasel, LCM3 (KC did not pursue plans. Only 4 prototypes produced), M-36 Jackson Tank Destroyer, M2 halftrack , M2A1 Halftrack (these were the early production but were used till the end of the war. Will go well as prime mover for the 57mm AT Gun or the 105mm Howitzer), M-21 Armored Recee Car, ...just my short list

Gentlemen. Lets not jump the Gunn!!! (could not resist) a few more brit para's first before we are swamped with GI's. I know many wanting to see some para revenge on some of these winning german sets and some camo smocks.

The US will come but, you have to be patient and create non US dio's
Mitch

I must agree, The brit paras need some pay back!! A few action poses will sort that, especially as we now have a dead FJ just out!!

Tom's got some ace stuff coming out.

The Great Crusade has been frustrating in a way. Regarding our new relationship with TGM, we usually would have done a scene already. But we are now tied to the time line and a long production process. But we all know how the Great Crusade will turn out.

If you saw Episode I, try to imaging where we will go with Episode II. There will be some TGM in there !

Diamond T Wrecker and soft skin US stuff ........Really cool ideas...... I have a wrecker from First Gear, which we used in the Dock Scene of TGC, but I don't think you can see it too well. It is a Mack, which I don't believe really existed, but I may convert it one day. It is really nice. Actually it is in the disabled Corsair scene on our website also. Alex

.

I remember that dio Alex. Really cool stuff. Keeping it on my archive for reference. I have a 1/35 scale version of the Diamond T Wrecker and Ward Le France manufactured by Accurate Armor (England). Hesitant to build it coz it will not match with my collection scale wise. Using it a reference in the hope of scratch-building one in the near future. Just finished working on the New Ray/Testor's Jeep and converting it to an LRDG Jeep. Sctatch-built some parts using cannibalized plastic and die-cast metal parts (the wheels are not accurate...lucky I bought some unfinished amphibian Jeeps from HB when they stopped their AFV line). Also just finished working on "The General's Jeep" modifying KC MP Jeep. I will post both on the Forum soon.

Keep up the good work! Love your diodrama creations and always a source of inspiration.

Some 29th Division infantry would be welcome. The Big Red 1 wasn't the only US Division on Omaha. -- Al

BSP has had the occasion to speak to dealers and manufacturers alike over the past years, and there always seems to be a skittishness about American stuff.

Does not sell as well as Germans is what I always hear.

I have always had my own take in it, and we (And others) pounded Rick (Figarti) to do Americanican stuff. And as you can see they have, (Even soft skin) and they seem to have been very well received.

I love the K&C ambulances. and of course the Dragon Wagon cab ( Wish they would put out the trailer).

Those were all ideas I secretly had in my mind, and it looks like they sold well.

So I hope Tom hears all of us, and does some American Soldiers for us. Or else we may loose BSP's version of The Great Crusade, due to lack of reinforcements {sm2}

Mentioned this once before, a special set of para's climbing on a tank to throw a grenade down the hatch.^&grin

US Paras are my favorite subject matter......I have a list of at least 30 poses to suggest. Could those of you who have not responded yet weigh in on your interest in US WWII Paras. I am on a mission here, I want to get these done, if I have to do them myself.

I am in contact with a few members of Band of Brothers, whose ranks are thinning. I have gotten a wealth of info from them. They love BSP's mission of honoring Vets through accurate Military Modeling. I don't want to let them down...

Wild Bill who is the head of the 101st reunion organization, made me a honorary member of Easy a few years ago. I have a certificate signed by all of the living members of Easy.....I WILL get this done one way or another.

I have every worth while set of US Paras produced, but I am in need of Patriot Figures 82nd Airborne set, if anyone knows where I can find one, or if someone has a set for sale.......Thanks Alex
