What about the Navy? (1 Viewer)

The WWII Pacific line would be a great place for Naval figures. That's where I thought the twin forties, with a couple of sailors, would fit perfectly. Perhaps Andy just doesn't want to commit to a complete vessel.

"2) K&C KRIEGSMARINE

Thanks to Pierre for the suggestion. The problem with naval figures is they really need a ship model to “come alive”. This was one of the reasons K&C considered…did a lot of work on… and then dropped our “Pirate” idea. What good are pirates without a pirate ship?

By my rough reckoning even a German “E” boat (torpedo boat) would be about 4 feet long in 1:30 scale… a “U Boat” over 6 feet long, the Bismark roughly 35 feet long. Now, I know Pierre was not asking for those items but my problem is that I would love to make one!!!

However I’ll see if we can’t do some naval related figures in the future."

Dear Brad,
After the switch in servers, my saved posts only goes back to March, 2006. Is there a way of getting access to earlier posts?:)

You guys need to keep in remember that Andy was a Royal Marine and like our US Marines he just may not be able let himself make Navy figures even when it would make him money.
It’s a MARINE THING. They can’t help it:)

Steven,

I believe that all the earlier posts are there except when the server switch was announced and then when it actually took place. All I did was do an advanced search, put in navy as the search term and King & Country as the poster. Your posts might still be there.

I don't think the WWII Navy thing would sell that good at all.

Not unless he makes modern Navy Seals for Iraq or Afghanistan. Vehicles and figures would sell good for that time period.

I think it would be a big seller. Look at Conte and his LCVP and LCVM. I don't think he would have produced those if the market wasn't there.

Steven you can still get all the earlier threads from the archives which you can find if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page down in the right hand corner.

So any ideas on what this Collector Club figures is suppose to look like?

You know everyone under the age of Forty is straching their head and wondering what we are talking about - I feel old.... ;)

Yep. It is quite painful to hear a tune that was popular from you teen years referred to as a GOLDEN OLDIE. OUCH. :(

Here in New York we have a "classic rock" radio station called Q104.3. Half there play list is what I would refer to as "new wave" music or later. If it has to be old to be classic, I'm afraid we are all getting old.

I listen to the same station in New Jersey. They play stuff from the eighties and call it Classic. What do they know anyway.

So back to the question at hand.............Is the CF Navy figure a single or the begining of a new range?
