Hello All again

I believe that amongst K&C's Napoleanic fare .. the Scots Grey is amongst its most popular. IMO .. K&C's Scots Grey cavalry would have been instrumental in attracting many new collectors to the napoleonic range.

On that score .. and going on a hunch that Andy having said, that K&C was not yet ready for Marmelukes or Cossack cavalry, that the next K&C cavalry release could very likely offer more British heavy cavalryfrom the Union or Household brigades.

The question I wish to pose to fellow collectors of K&C NAPs .. is whether we would like to see new British cavalry, if such were made, be in charging & attacking posses to "supplement" the charging Greys ... or would collectors prefer a whole new series in trotting/parading poses ?

Personally, I would rather any new British cavalry to be in charging poses .. to add mass to the Grey's attack :)

I'd vote for British Light Dragoons charging too, but we need more guns on the French site for the troopers to head for.

As there is French Horse Guard Artillery, lets have Foot Line Artillery, but looking like 'real' gunners, dirty and sweaty :)

Hi All

I would vote firstly, for more heavy dragoons from Ponsonby`s Union brigade to charge alongside the Greys for a more dramatic diorama/display .

The 2nd ( Scot's greys ) North British Dragoons, charged on the left wing at Waterloo facing the French. The 6th Dragoons( Inniskilling ) In the middle and the 1st ( Royal ) Dragoons on the right.

But i do agree with Obee we do need Light dragoons aswell.

So,my second vote would be any of the Light Dragoon cavalry regiments in vandeleur`s brigade.

Who did charge to cover the Union Brigades retreat with the 11th,12th and 16th, Light Dragoons, after their mauling by Jacquinot`s 3rd chausseurs a cheval and his 3rd and 4th lancers.

Could we also have a lot more dead and dying figures please, Mr king and Country.

Cheers Mark

If they must be British, then let it be the 1e Life Guards or Horse Guards. If not than hussars, any and many of them in marching and charching pose. Need some other colour then red. KGL cavalry is a good alternative.

Like also to see characters and aids around Wellington. Del Prado has some nice examples of those.

But any horsesoldier addition wil be fine.

As for me Dutch brigade's like Tripp's Heavy Cavalry will also do.

Hi Richard Tree.

All British light dragoon regiments wore blue jackets during the Union brigades covering retreat.

The facing colours ranged as follows .

11th light dragoons = pale buff ( white ) blue jacket .

12th light dragoons =yellow , blue jacket. ( Prince of Wales ).

16th light dragoons = red ,blue jacket. ( Queen`s own ).

So any of the light dragoon regiments above, would look great in their blue jackets, and would fit in to the historical scenario very well.:D

Best wishes Mark.

Mark,

Thank you for the information and so lets hav'm then!!!! It would be nice to see some dragoons:D:D:D.

But a additions in cavalry on the English side would anyway be a celebration.

Richard
