No offense, but once you discover Arsenyev, you will quickly forget about Grenada! :wink2:

I sent them an email via the website a while back and never heard anything.
I know at one time, not sure if currently, Sierra had some trouble with getting inventory and stopped taking orders from them for a while.
They made some creative pieces but AeroArt had some people complain years ago that Grenada was using the same figures in different vignettes and were getting upset with the recycling of figures. I think it was at that time that AeroArt and Grenada parted ways.

Thought they made nice figures. Had gotten a few from Sierra Toy Soldier, others on ebay. Wish they were still around.

Variations of a theme. picked these up on ebay. Aeroart but fabricated by Grenada.

Grenada was offering maybe not the highest quality (comparing with Arsenyev today) but better quality/price relation than any other russian studio today. I still have a few figures from them.
I just wonder what happend with the molds, cannot somebody else in St. Petersburg get them and produce the figures? Ottoman Janissary with Musket - simple painted foot figure - was just sold for 313 $ on ebay.
BTW Sineus is also gone... :(:(:(:(

that website has not been updated since 2008..

the guy who was distributing grenada figures in the US is out of business...

you'll get better quality for your money with other russian studios .. .arsenyev, sineus, etc..

Yeap

it's true, Sineus is not producing a lot these days...

And Arsenyev quality is dropping !!!! But prices keep rising.
Russian studios try to sell you a figure based on the amount of patterns painted in the figure... while the blending of lights and shadows is not well rendered. Many painters in north america or rest of Europe will sell you better painted figures for less money.

Cheers
Alex
