I just saw the Crimean War figures live in London, and they are fantastic, even without the upcoming releases ( Highlanders, etc. ). Stunning stuff, really. I used to think WWII was K&C's champion, but with this Crimean War series, the title might be about to change hands... Oh, and the WWI Germans, aren't they terrific?

Must agree with your assessment. I just received the first 2 17th Lancers and they are absolutely things of beauty. I'm hooked just like that. I'll have them all within the next 2 weeks.

Don't forget the Russians are really well done as well. I particularly like the Officer that comes with the gun and crew.

Oh yes, I'm planning to get the gun and crew and most of the Russian figures as well. I just cannot get over how great these look. Should be receiving the flagbearer today. :D

Yep, it will make a perfect little shelf sized dio for starters...subject to revision and expansion as need be every June and December of course. :)

I am really taken with the Ancient Egypt series. Never bought any for myself until recently. There were a few items that I did not want to pass by. Fascinated with WWII, but it was the Napoleonics that originally caught my eye.

The Crusades first caught my eye and still do but I found myself drawn to some of the NAPS so far. We shall see how it goes.;)

WW2 is my favorite because it is a very interesting part of history and the worlds technology changed.

Yes isn't it! The wonderful Arnhem items are I believe from Toy Soldiers Paris.

Louis of course has also got a wonderful collection of the Arnhem figures with

an original Horsa Glider. He also has a Vietnam Firebase with all the figures

and Vehicles including some extremely rare ones.

The Firebase pictured is nestled quietly behind the sofa in my den.

Yes it is, with a few additional crew from King & Country. I think it looks

great on the Diorama. I also have the Light Seal Support Craft & seal team

to alternate on occasion.

I wonder why the Alamo range is rated so low? I have most of the figures from this range and I like K&C's approach to modelling the Alamo defenders based on actual personalities.

I understand that K&C made some Zulu figures at one point. Is this true?

Is anyone able to post pictures of them?
